Until the WWII it was the territory of East Prussia, only 70 km from the German town Chemnitz and 120 km from the East Germany pearl – Dresden. The hotel was closed during the WWI and the building was not used until 1960 when its reconstruction started. The company `Glenmark &Geomark Union` got is as its property in 2009. On the top floors there are apartments, and purchasers can arrange and furnish them according to their needs and wishes. The heating has been planned autonomous – using the environmentally friendly renewable resources – combining solar energy with wood pellets boilers.
